In Fang Gogh, the hunt is on to find Outsiders. They'll try to stay alive and under the radar until the right moment, if it ever comes. If Outsiders are loud and get themselves killed too early, they give the Storyteller lots of time to wreak havoc on the town. If they live too long, they'll end up being the perfect frame - or the actual Demon!
The Minions are all carefully chosen to help the Fang Gu add an extra player to the Evil team. First of all, the Boomdandy makes it especially hard for Outsiders to convince town to execute them early. The Xaan can let the Storyteller run any number of Outsiders. The Marionette combines with it as good players will be careful about sharing info that might be poisoned or they'll risk outing themselves as the Demon's evil neighbor. Finally, a Cerenovus is perfect for steering executions away from Outsiders as well as evil players, especially in the hands of a Plague-Doctor-empowered Storyteller.
Storyteller advice
Often, less is more when it comes to Outsiders. Using the Hermit's "-1" or the Xaan's "X" to lower the count can keep the game engaging.
Don't be afraid to enable some niche interactions with the Recluse ability. The Snake Charmer can swap with them, the Cannibal could appear evil after eating them, and the answer to the Artist's question could be muddled by misregistration!
The Knight helps the town to track a Demon that can move in a couple ways. Regardless of whether you'd typically put a Snake Charmer or Outsider in the Knight's pings, don't become too predictable.
