Bootlegger Rules:
- The Stormcatcher favours the Dreamer.
- If the Drunk thinks they are the Lycanthrope, the Demon learns who they are and who they choose at night.
It's summer in the City of Dreams. New to town, our Dreamer is lost in thought: "Wow, everyone in California is sooo nice—just like I imagined they'd be...and look at that cute doggie!"
The Storm Catcher favours the Dreamer and there's a custom jinx that may send the Lycanthrope chasing after shadows...with a vagrant Lunatic trailing close behind.
The town has its share of nosy busybodies who would like nothing more than to sniff out the less-than-savory proclivities of their unsuspecting neighbors. However, between the superficial facades of misregistration and the influence of controlled substances, people may not always be quite what they seem.
The title of this script alludes to the 1963 song by John & Michelle Phillips, whose lyrics invoke the California Mythos as an idealized escape from the harsh disillusionment of everyday life.
